Accessibility

We want Datum to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.

Our aim

We design and build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and toward the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). This includes readable contrast, keyboard access, clear structure, and meaningful labels.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is continuous. Some areas, especially the interactive map and data tables, are still being improved. If something is hard to use, we want to hear it.
